With a unique combination of 20% vitamin C in the stable ethylated form plus vitamin E and 2% ellagic acid, this serum increases protection against photodamage significantly more than with the standard Vitamin C molecule, and four times more than vitamin C alone. Its synergistic formula blocks the damaging effects of UVA and UVB that can destroy collagen fibers and decrease skin elasticity, while anti-aging properties reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and help to firm and tighten skin. Delivering both acute and chronic photoprotection, this formula also helps to lighten the skin, resulting in a bright, more radiant-looking complexion. Ellagic acid is a known scavenger of free radicals capable of continuous regeneration, thus promoting efficacy both at low concentrations and over a sustained duration. On the other hand, hyaluronic acid insures proper skin hydration.
